Revista Portuguesa de Terapia Ocupacional (RPTO) / Portuguese Journal of Occupational Therapy (PJOT) is a bilingual (Portuguese and English) scientific journal published by the School of Health Sciences of the Polytechnic University of Leiria.

It aims to promote and disseminate activities of reflection, research and intervention in the field of Human Occupation, Health, Rehabilitation, Education and related areas, thus contributing to the consolidation and expansion of knowledge and practices in the spectrum of Occupational Therapy. It also seeks to include contributions to the Initial and Continuing Training of Occupational Therapists.

This journal offers immediate open access to its content, arguing that the free availability of scientific knowledge to the public is an imperative of modern society and a social responsibility of all those who contribute to the development of professional reasoning.
